Ford Rare Parts Auction Rules
By participating in the Ford Rare Parts Auction, all bidders agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Fordshowparts.com, which are final and binding in all respects. Fordshowparts.com reserves the right to delete any bid deemed "outrageous." If your bid is removed, you will be notified.
- Auction Period: The auction begins on October 10, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST and ends on November 10, 2025, at 9:00 PM EST.
- Eligibility: Open only to legal residents of the contiguous United States (lower 48 states, including Washington D.C.) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of registration. A valid Fordshowparts.com account is required to bid.
- Registration: Bidders must create an account on Fordshowparts.com, providing accurate contact and shipping information.
- Verified Bidders for High-Value Items: Any item with a current bid of $1,000 or more will be restricted to Verified Bidders only. To become verified, bidders must email fordsp1@ford.com for approval. Verification will be confirmed via email from fordsp1@ford.com. Bids on such items from unverified accounts will not be accepted.
- Bidding Process: Bids are placed electronically on individual product pages. Bid increments are fixed at $10.
- No Reserve Prices: All items are sold without a reserve price to the highest bidder.
- Proxy Bidding: Proxy bidding is permitted. Fordshowparts.com reserves the right to remove any bid deemed "outrageous" at its sole discretion, with notification to the affected bidder.
- Auction Close: The auction will close precisely at the stated end time. No extensions or "soft closes" will occur. The highest bid recorded at the closing time will be declared the winning bid.
- Item Condition & Description: Items are sold "as-is" with detailed descriptions, photos, and a Certificate of Authenticity. Bidders are responsible for reviewing all provided information.
- Memorabilia Only: All auction items are sold as memorabilia and collectibles and are NOT intended for functional automotive use.
- Payment:
- Accepted methods: Major Credit Cards and PayPal.
- Due Date: Winning bidders must complete payment within 24 hours of notification.
- No Buyer's Premium or Sales Tax.
- Failure to Pay: Failure to complete payment within 24 hours will result in forfeiture of the item, and the item will be offered to the next highest bidder.
- Shipping:
- Availability: Contiguous United States (lower 48 states, including Washington D.C.) only. Auction items will ship via UPS only.
- Cost: Ford Show Parts covers all shipping, handling, and insurance costs.
- Timeline: Items will be shipped within two weeks of confirmed payment.
- Local Pickup: Available by arrangement only. Winning bidders must contact fordsp1@ford.com after payment to schedule pickup.
- Final Sale: All sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be issued for any auction items.
